Reason for Being:

The team was formed by a group of eight senior engineering students at the University of Hawaii at Manoa with the task to design an electric vehicle. The team originally set out with the idea of designing and racing an electric motorcycle, but after more thought the team gravitated back to the local community. With a passion for the ocean it was natural for the team to look here first. From this the team was able to pin point a target audience to design a vehicle for, the lifeguards. With not only a passion for the ocean but also engineering the group believes they can put their studies to work in a real world experience. As an ode to the lifeguards and their services the team sets out to develop a specialized ATV for their use.
